The proprietary Pantone color matching system is the industry standard method for specifying colors. Pantone colors are numbered and are made up out of a base set of colors. By specifying a specific Pantone color, you can be assured that their is little color deviance in the final product.
Pantones are generally used as spot colors, such as logos and cases, to ensure color consistency for corporate identities.
