Recently, Google announced a security flaw in the design of SSL v3. Upon disclosure of the details, we began immediate investigation. Our servers are not affected by this vulnerability, and our customer's data remain safe.
PromoKeychain.com uses uses a Comodo SSL certificate to secure online transactions for it's customers. You may view our certficiate, by clicking on the "Comodo Secure" logo, on the front page of our website.
What does this mean for you?
https://www.promokeychain.com has a website warranty of $250,000. This means that you are insured for up to $250,000 when relying on the information provided by IdAuthority on this site.
Google estimates this change will affect less than 1% of the internet. (The SSL 3.0 protocol is almost 15 years old but has remained in place to support users running older browsers.)
Check out Google’s Security blog for details.
If you would like to be 100% protected, you can disable SSLv3 in your browser settings. Information on how to do this in a few popular browsers can be found here.
